GENX, ONE OF THE PFOA REPLACEMENT CHEMICALS, INDUCES TUMORS IN ANIMAL BIOASSAYS AS WELL. USING THE KEY CHARACTERISTICS OF CARCINOGENS FRAMEWORK FOR CANCER HAZARD IDENTIFICATION, WE CONSIDERED THE EXISTING EPIDEMIOLOGICAL, TOXICOLOGICAL AND MECHANISTIC DATA FOR 26 DIFFERENT PFAS.
